Big Springs, Mo.
Big Spring State Park is located near Van Buren, in southeastern Missouri. Big Spring is the largest single spring in the world, discharging 277 million gallons of water each day. In this photo, the spring flows up at the right, producing a small "river" which flows downstream to the left.

The spring flows from the base of this cliff, creating a large pool.

Beyond the bridge, the spring water joins Current River, popular for canoeing and fishing.
