Dixie Battle Hymn is an arrangement by Rosy Baldwin. Total instruments: 8, plus drums. Sequenced for General MIDI. Playing time: 3:39. An original treatment of Dixie and The Battle Hymn of the Republic, the piece uses a layered sound effect with horns, chorus, organ, and woodwinds intertwining the two Civil War melodies. The arrangement closes with The Battle Hymn, and gradually fades to the single note upon which both melodies end.
